Inside the 2nd match of the TT final which our team was losing, I look into the eyes of my friend who was also my teammate and we both knew we could still win. Having already lost a match and losing the other one by a big margin it was obvious that winning would be a miracle. It was kind of situation like in movies where the good team almost loses the match and then turns it around. We pulled off that kind of thing on that day, it was all going in slow motion. My friends cheering for us, and I was still baffled by our win. What clicked that day between us was not a mere coincidence. It happens many times and it often goes unnoticed. When you go through certain phases of life together with someone you get interlinked. I’m not talking about a life partner, because you can live without one but you can’t live without friends.

There are a lot of people in our lives. Family, Partner, Superiors, Relatives etc. What all of these people have in common is they create friction from time to time. They’ll drain your energy. Even when you have understanding parents or partners, there’ll be times when shit happens. You can’t control that. You’ll feel awful, frustrated and whatnot. But there are some, you turn towards to feel lighter and brighter. Yes, there are hard times but more often than not friendships are always peace-giving. You can’t have more shitloads of fun with anyone else than your friends. It’s somewhat automatic, the way friends click, talk and go about their business. They make you the person you will be. Have you ever felt possessive about your friends, like about your real friends? Never. I think everyone in their lives should have people with whom they’ve seen it all. Childhood, the Early twenties, Marriage and even after that. There’s a different level of connection in these bonds because they know each other naked. That can only be experienced and can not be described in words. If you have friends to rely on, who celebrate your success, support your lows. You’re blessed.
