What you seek is seeking you

Ask and it is given, When the student is ready the master appears. There’s this fascinating ring to these kind of sentences. They just seem so impractical and yet they are. We all have a desire to be more, to grow and evolve and to be nicer human beings. This doesn’t just happen we have to work towards it and we have to see where do we want to go. But what if where you want to go is also coming to you.

Let’s understand this with an example, suppose you’re climbing a mountain and you are about to reach the peak. You first see a false peak and it your perception it is the actual peak and you see it getting closer so you hurry up and reach as fast as possible, and when you reach you realize the peak’s not yet arrived. But you still see it’s close so you climb again, as fast as you can, even faster than before because you can see it coming closer. In the same way things will come closer to you but you won’t realize this until they’ve finally arrived. The view at the mountain top is all but a fantasy until you finally reach and see it with your own eyes. Just think of it in this way, whatever you’re working towards or take anything you want, also want to come to you. if you can realize this there’ll be more you’ll achieve than you could have because with this mindset you’ll not let things just pass, you’ll acknowledge their presence, you’ll celebrate small victories, such as you do on campsites in mountain trekking.

Ever seen the movie The Lord of the Rings? An evil analogy but it fits in, Sauron wants the ring and rings wants to go to him, such is you and your destiny.
